In about an hour and a half I’ll be on the road to Georgia to finally see Brenden graduate. It’s crazy to look back and realize how fast time really does go. I was expecting time without him to drag on, but to my surprise it flew by. Not looking forward to being in a car for 13 hours, we probably won’t make it to Georgia til about 7AM or so, but it’ll all be worth it :)
Just called off work for next week. I can’t believe he’s graduating basic in a week! :)
It was so nice to hear his voice and hear his laugh <3 Those 20 minutes will get me through the next week and a half when he’s out doing his FTX. I can’t believe this is the last stretch of training and then he’s done. <3
Well this little post card I got today is so precious. Surprise mail and something different from a letter, so cute.

This is my letter box. I keep all my stationary and all my letters I have gotten from Brenden in here as well as stickers and things I decorate with. That way it’s all in one spot :)
Brenden has his phone tonight and unfortunatly I worked and didn’t get a break. So while he had his phone I snuck back to my locker a few times and texted him. It’s probably on camera but lots of other people do it too, so whatever. Lol. He ended up sending a voicemail and a video of him talking to me :) Then he actually called Dairy Queen’s phone and asked for me and talked to me for about a minute. I obviously couldn’t talk long but I got to still talk. He’s just the best, seriously.
Excuse the fact that I look like CRAP. But we finally found a video chat that worked on his iPhone and my iPod :)
He’ll say I love you more really quickly and hang up the phone. Just so he can be the last one to say it. Because in his mind, being the last one to say it means it’s true. He’s precious :)
Even though we get to talk on the phone he still wrote, and I already got it. And it made me cry, of course. Just talking about how he wants to spend his life with me is such an incredible thing to read and know. He was writing about how we’ll get an apartment and shop for cute things for it and go grocery shopping together…the little things we’re both so excited about. I don’t know why, but grocery shopping is something I’m so excited to do with him. Haha :) But yeah, that was a nice little surprise to come home to.
